Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio is a visionary leader, philanthropist, and dedicated public servant whose commitment to transforming lives through education has made an indelible mark on Nigeria’s youth.

With a career spanning several key roles, including his tenure as the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Minister for Niger Delta Affairs, and now as the Senate President of Nigeria, Senator Akpabio has consistently demonstrated his passion for developing human capital, particularly in education

Meet Our Scholars

Wisdom Ime Umoren is a dedicated law student at the University of Uyo, currently in his fourth year. A native of Ikot Idem village in Odoro Ikot clan, Essien Udim Local Government Area, he has shown a deep passion for legal advocacy and social justice.

Etieno Akaninyene Udoyen is a dedicated student of Nursing Science at the University of Uyo, currently in her fourth year. A native of Ikono Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom State, she is the eldest of four siblings.

Owouko Nsikak Urua is a dedicated medical student from Ikot Abia Idem in Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

Effiong Josiah Eyakndue is a dedicated and resilient student from Oruk Anam Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. Born on February 6, he exemplifies discipline, perseverance, and a strong Christian faith.
