The Postgraduate Scholarship Programme by the Sen. (Dr) Godswill Akpabio Education Foundation supports outstanding graduates from Akwa Ibom State’s Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District who wish to pursue advanced studies in Nigerian or accredited international universities. The initiative aims to nurture intellectual excellence, promote leadership, and empower beneficiaries to contribute meaningfully to society through research and innovation.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
Be indigenes of Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District, Akwa Ibom State.
Have completed an undergraduate degree.
Have secured admission into a recognized postgraduate programme (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Nigeria.
Demonstrate strong moral character, leadership qualities, and community involvement.
Not be a current beneficiary of any other scholarship or sponsorship.
Provide verifiable documents including admission letter, and proof of local government of origin.
