Bursary Application

Overview

The Bursary Programme of the Sen. Dr. Godswill Akpabio Education Foundation is designed to provide financial relief to students who face economic challenges in the pursuit of their education. This initiative supports undergraduates from the Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District, helping them offset tuition costs, accommodation fees, and other essential academic expenses.

The programme reflects the Foundation’s belief that no student should be denied education because of financial limitations. By empowering deserving students, we aim to foster academic excellence, personal growth, and community development.

Objectives

• To provide financial assistance to students from low-income backgrounds.

• To encourage academic dedication and persistence among students.

• To promote inclusiveness and equal access to education within the Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District.

• To support the educational vision of Sen. (Dr.) Godswill Obot Akpabio in nurturing future leaders.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Be indigenes of Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District in Akwa Ibom State.

• Be currently enrolled in a recognized tertiary institution.

• Demonstrate good moral conduct and discipline within and outside the campus.

• Provide proof of local government of origin and student/admission ID.

• Not be a current beneficiary of any other scholarship or bursary award from the Foundation.
